Hushstar – The Service
The Hushstar website enables advertisers in the entertainment industry to place
advertisements and find the person to meet the specific requirements.
Advertisers place adverts with Hushstar and applicants will produce a personal
Hushstar portfolio. We will match the roles to any portfolios that we feel may
be suitable. If a member of Hushstar fits the requirement for a position we will
email them with the details of the advertiser. It is then up to the member to
apply for the role if they wish to. Hushstar is not responsible for adverts
posted or of any member’s portfolios posted. Hushstar is not liable in any
circumstance for actions of any advertiser or liable for any members details
featured on our website. Hushstar are limited to providing advertisers with the
relevant information about any applicant that is seeking work. Hushstar are also
limited to providing information about advertising agencies to members.
Hushstar Terms and conditions – Acceptance
The terms and conditions below offer you access to our site and services. If you
use the Hushstar website or any of the services offered by Hushstar you are
subject to the terms and conditions listed below. If are signing up as a member
of Hushstar please read the terms and conditions. If you disagree with any of
the information on this page please discontinue use of the Hushstar website.
Hushstar Terms and Conditions - Changes
We have the right to change our terms and conditions. Changes will be effective
from the date of change. You are responsible for regularly checking the terms
and conditions of Hushstar. By joining as a member of Hushstar you agree to the
Terms and conditions and are bound by them. For personal records please keep a
printed record of this page.
Hushstar - Liability
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are consenting to the maximum
extent permitted by law, any and all liability and responsibility of Hush
Star.co.uk to you or any other person under or in connection with these terms
and conditions, or in connection with the services, this web site, another
member's acts or omissions, or your use of or inability to use, the services or
this web site is excluded regardless of whether such liability arises in
contract, tort (including negligence), equity, breach of statutory duty or
otherwise. Hushstar.co.uk liability and responsibility is excluded in respect of
any and all loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, including, without
limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business or anticipated
savings, general and special damages, and consequential and incidental loss.
Hushstar - Indemnity
You agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnified us from and against all
actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses) losses, proceedings,
damages, liabilities, or demands suffered or incurred by us to any person
arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.
Hushstar - Breach
Hushstar has the right to limit your activities whilst using the Hushstar
website. We have the rights to remove your adverts and personal profiles. We
have the right to terminate your membership and to issue a warning.
User profiles must not contain links or references to profiles stored or listed
on or any other online websites.
Hushstar - Browsing
Hushstar is aimed at an audience age of18 or over. It is the responsibility of a
parent or guardian to ensure that a minor is not viewing any inappropriate
information.
Hushstar – Joining as a member
Hushstar does not charge advertisers for our services. We charge a fee for
membership at Hushstar. We do not take any extra charge if an applicant is
successful in gaining a role with an advertiser.
This membership fee may change. We reserve the right to change our membership
fee. As a member of Hushstar you will be billed online for our service. You
hereby authorise for Hushstar to charge your chosen payment provider for our
service.
Upon signing to become a Hushstar member you agree that following the initial
charge there will be recurring charges following from the date of joining until
agreed. By agreeing to Hushstar terms and conditions you acknowledge that your
subscription has an initial payment and also a recurring payment for a specified
amount of time prior to the member canceling the contract.
If you wish to cancel your Hushstar account or wish to change your payment
method we have the right to take membership charge until you inform us of the
cancellation in writing. It is your responsibility to provide Hushstar with your
correct and current details for charges coming from the account details provided
when enrolling.
You must inform Hushstar of any changes to your billing account immediately. If
you fail to provide Hushstar with any information relating to changes in billing
we have the rights to continue billing for our service to the account provided
until you have terminated your contract.
Upon joining as a member of Hushstar you are automatically authorising that your
membership will be automatically renewed to the same time period originally
signed up for.
To change or renew membership please send us an email with your contact details
and queries. Upon resignation of membership your membership will last until the
end of that subscripted month and membership will then be terminated.
If your contract is terminated early you are not eligible for any refund. On the
condition you are using Hushstar you are liable for payment. Hushstar has the
right to seek alternative payment if the chosen method of payment fails.
Hushstar has the right to change fees at any time.
Hushstar - Cancellation and Refunds
You can cancel your Hushstar membership at any time. All options after the
initial payment are on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. We recommend
you cancel your membership at the end of your paying month as no refunds will be
given. You have the right to cancel your membership within 7 days of your first
subscription payment provided you have not used any of the following features of
our site: applied for any jobs, Castings or Auditions listed on our site or made
your profile active in our talent directory, you can claim a refund. A £7
administration fee is charged for processing each refund and your account will
then terminated immediately. If you wish to cancel your membership please

The Hushstar website is protected under copyright. Under no circumstance should
anyone use any of the material on the website without permission of the company
director.
Hushstar – Computer viruses
We cannot make any guarantees that Hushstar will be fully functioning all of the
time. Hushstar are not liable for any loses or damages during the time the
website is down. Hushstar will not be held liable if a virus is picked up whilst
visiting this website. We screen all of the information held on our website but
cannot make any guarantee that viruses will not be picked up. Hushstar are not
liable for any virus picked up from our website. You use this site at your own
jeopardy.
Hushstar – Your personal information
It is the responsibility of members to keep profile information up to date.
Hushstar will not be help responsible for any loss or earnings or consequences
for holding incorrect information. When you receive your password to access our
site it is your responsibility to keep that password secure.
It is your responsibility to avoid unauthorised use of your profile. By agreeing
to this contract you are allowing Hushstar to allow other embers of the website
to view your profile. You are permitting for other members of the website to
contact you. This site is not for the use of junk email or sexual or offensive
conversation.
This behavior is not tolerated and Hushstar has the right to terminate the
membership immediately. Refunds will not be made if you are in breach of these
terms and conditions. Hushstar are permitted to use your personal information
for research and to assist you in using the site. You have the right to access
your personal information and to change it. By agreeing to this contract Hush
Star can publish your personal details and photos and permit other members to
contact you.
Hushstar may wish to provide your information to a third party. We will not do
this without the consent of the member. This does not apply if the information
is to assist where required by the law.
Hushstar – Web links Hushstar hold no responsibility for any websites linked
from or to our website. Users use these links at their own risk.
Privacy
You authorise Hushstar to use your details purpose of research, to assist in
situations relating to the law, you are permitting us to use your information to
promote further Hushstar services to you. Hushstar will not give any personal
details to a third party without consent of the profile holder (this is exempt
under circumstance relating to law) You may change your profile at any time
including your photo.
You may receive emails from Hushstar informing
you of new information relating to the site. Please review our
