At the tender age of only 22, Emma-Louise has already been involved with many
aspects of the showbiz world from modelling to TV.
Emma-Louise started dance training at the young age of 3 years old and within
years was achieving exemplary exam results in all dance disciplines and
completed ISTD examinations up to Advanced level.
Teamed with vocational classes at ISTD Ballet Headquarters and Laine Theatre
Arts, Emma-Louise soon started winning titles in regional competitions including
the Ina Jordan Award for Most Promising Musical Theatre performer in both 2004
and 2005 and performed in the England National Finals. Appearances on the BBC
for her soon followed with media coverage for productions of the musicals
‘Zigger Zagger’ and ‘Sweeney Todd.’
Following a career break, Emma-Louise returned to dance for Toni & Guy in hair
and fashion shows in Southern England and appeared alongside other Hushstar
members as an actress BBC’s Crimewatch UK.
A short time after, she returned to the screen on ITV’s X Factor as part of
bubbly girl band T.H.E. Cover Girls who were sensationally axed at bootcamp
stage by Louis Walsh after rumours spread of ‘links’ to last year’s X Factor
finalists’ management.
Named by Simon Cowell on air as the year’s “most promising girl band,” T.H.E.
Cover Girls went on to be involved in a media frenzy including a feature in The
Daily Star and a front cover for Emma-Louise in The People newspaper.
Always keen to avoid being caught up in the London party scene media circus,
Emma-Louise kept a low profile concentrating on development of the band and
collaborating with top London photographer Mark Barnfield for modelling
appearances in Nuts, Loaded and Monkey Magazine.
Teamed with modelling for Mia Lingerie and Yamaha, this proved to be a
successful year.
Emma-Louise is continuing work within the showbiz field and is pleased to be
teaming up with Hushstar…
